5 Levels In A Business Ladder

Lahat tayo nagsisimula bilang Employee o trabahador, sa isang kompanya. Maaaring ikaw ay isang I.T, a Saleslady, Engineer o Call center agent.

Talagang dapat magsimula at the bottom, and take it all as an apprentice-ship to level up! Hindi naman maaaring mag-umpisa bilang Manager - Level 2 kaagad, o Investor - Level 4 agad nang hindi nasusubukan how to be an employee. Very dangerous pag mabilisang level jump!

Kaya if you are an employee now, learn as much as you can! Kung bibigyan ng extra load sa trabaho, take it as an opportunity as a practice.

Noong ako ay isang employee as a Call center agent. I showed them a good performance, and an interest in helping the training department, and afterwards I was given a chance to train new employees. What a great experience and getting out of my comfort zone.

Then in the other company, after learning everything first hand, and becomes a senior sales consultant. I was already been given extra loads as a supervisor, kahit hindi pa man ako promoted. Ok lang yun! I was being apprentice for the next level.

Tinanggap ko ang challenges and gave it all my best hanggang sa na-promote ako as a Supervisor. Then while I was a Supervisor, hindi pa man ako manager, I was already doing the tasks of a manager! Ganun talaga.

Then came the time when I took all the learnings and experience in, and resigned so from Level 0- as an Employee, I decided to jump to become on Level 1- as a Self employed. That is being on your own business pero ikaw pa rin ang nagbabantay and doing everything sa cash register, sa customer service, sa paggawa being an employee on your business, doing accounting etc. Making sure kumikita ang negosyo.

Then kapag gamay mo na ang trabaho, alam mo na ins and outs, pagbaliktarin man, alam mo ang maayos na trabaho at hindi, pwede ka nang mag- hire ng iba at delegate the work needed. Then you can become a Manager - Level 2. Dito nag oobserve ka sa mga nagta -trabaho, and you look at the bigger picture, do training, more promotions for the business and coming up with how to grow the business.

Sunod, ang pagiging Owner - Level 3. You hire a Manager delegating managerial taks for the Business. So, you can think about the next step, is it to Branch out or to open another one type of business.

Stocks and shares at mas pinapalago pa ang business income. Ibenta ang negosyo for a bigger rate.

Ang Level 5- Entrepreneur ay bumibili ng successful businesses for a bigger profit. Meron siyang group of companies and passive incomes left and right.

Takes not just a hint of patience but way too much patience at lakas ng loob depende sa hunger or desire mo to achieve your goal para yumaman, not just for yourself and family, and also to help and love other through your wealth.

Hebrews 12:11 NIV No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Protect the Money-Machine That Is You

Syempre! Ibig sabihin, kung alam mo na bukas ay dadapuan ka ng Terminal illness like cancer, o masagasaan and will cause disability. Po-protektahan mo ba muna ang sarili mo by getting insured? Syempre!

Alam naman natin ang lifestyle ngayon, fastfood everywhere, preservatives even on your fruits and veggies.

Kung iipunin lamang sa Time deposit o sa banko, hindi mo mararating ang goal mo to send your child in a university like this, but in a Mutual fund or stocks growing your money from 15- 30%!

Tama?

Kaya mo makuha ang lahat ng ito! Posible yan, first through budgeting and saving a part of your income now. Ngayon na dapat!

If you need financial planning, nag-aral ako at licensed to help you on your needs.

Gaano mo kamahal ang sarili mo?

Gaano mo kamahal ang anak mo?

Huwag ipagpaliban. This is a priority.

Starting A Business: Daig ng Maagap ang Masikap

Parang kahapon lang noong nag-open ako ng business, taking all the risks. Given up a steady income that comes from a salaried job, I risked all my savings for a ultimate goal I have wanted in the first place why I wanted to go abroad for work. To Start a New Business.

It has never been all ups! Maraming times, I would feel discouraged. Sobrang tipid ako sa sarili ko in terms of giving up shopping, or spending on gadgets or whatever.

Good Rule of Thumb: Don't leave a steady salaried- job straight away in getting into business!

Start muna nang paunti -unti. Get an online business on the side, or have a rental properts that earns, before starting a full-blown traditional business like a restaurant, salon or shop.

Na-advise na ako ng isa kong business mentor, that he has been there and that as a new entrepreneur starting your own business, you shouldn't get your personal expenses from the new business. So nagtiis na lang ako and everyday prays that God brings in customers or clients in my door. It has pushed me beyond limits you wouldn't imagine in times when I was starting na I value as little penny as possible dahil sa mga bills na dapat kong bayaran.

Another Fact in Starting a New Business: According to statistics, only 1 out of 10 of new business stays afloat after 5 years, the rest folds up.

God is so merciful. God's has given me grace to stay afloat for a few months and provided on my needs for myself and to pay for the expenses of the business miraculously! I believe God works in the background and helps me along the way so I survive the first 5 years!

I tried to use all my learnings from the books I read, the seminars and workshops I attended, and the experience as a supervisor on a shop before when I was still in Dubai. Pero may mga times na, I as much as I wouldn't want to fail, problems and issues arise and hit me in the face. Still, Experience pa rin ang the Best Learning!

AIM! FIRE!

Dahil planning is a very important aspect, but EXECUTION is everything! Kung uunahin ang READY, AIM... maaaring you will be stuck in READY.. AIM.. READY.. AIM.

Kaya READY, FIRE (Act kagad!) then AIM (or correct or tweak) along the way.

I still haven't reached the income target my business generates, but nararamdaman ko na it trickles unti- unti bubuhos na ang blessings because of continued persistence and hardwork plus prayers.

I thank God for the business mentors I met, for my business partners who trust in me, and for the amazing harvest that is soon to come.

May mga nagtatanong sa akin that they want to open a new business and asks for advice. And I would advise you as from my experience, and the statistics. It's not easy, be ready for failure. But every failure is a Gold mine to be used as a great learning experience.

Parang sa pag-aaral ng pagpapatakbo ng bike.

Parang noong baby ka pa, learning to walk by yourself.

Sa umpisa lang iyon, but you will master it soon, dahil all skills are learnable. You will also master your business. If you fail, try and start again. Recover, and try again.

Start while you're young. Dream Big. Act Fast.

I have started my first business when I was Grade 5 in school, nagpapa-renta ako ng comics at pocketbooks. I remember so well, of course it failed.

Then in an online, from ebay, buy and sell. Short-lived 6 months.

Bo Sanchez is known for his success in his businesses left and right. But he is proud to say to have failed 8 businesses first. And he learned tremendously from it.

Accept that you might FAIL.

Getting into Business is the riskiest of all. But a successful and growing business can make you a millionaire. Even a Billionaire. Marami tayong kakilala that just started small, and grew little by little into big businesses.

But your developed courage, character and wisdom from the journey in becoming what you really want and to achieve Financial Freedom, then that's priceless.

I mean, look at your destination as one single goal. But realize that you may actually take other ways or trips into getting there.

I pray for your Financial freedom. To Better take care of your family and loved ones. Or maybe to serve your Bigger Family (church, community, orphans, or the world).

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

Ating Sundin Ang "Daang Matuwid"

Nakakatuwa to see great improvement on the Country's GDP and Economic Growth reports from last year and the start of the year 2013!

I am very optimistic, not losing hope and faith that in following years, Philippines would be one of the Top players globally.

Ang galing lang ni P-noy to be attracting more investors and tourists dahil sa kanyang goal to fight corruption: "Ang Daang Matuwid!"

We should continue to be smart in our voting, for the progress of the Philippines.

And let's be more cooperative! Ang dami kong nakikita na bad habits we all need to change.

Halimbawa, as a simple citizen of Philippines, ang daang matuwid ay ang:

  • Pag-tawid sa tamang tawiran, o pedestrian lane
    • Unbelievable sa Makati Business District ang lahat ng tawiran, sa dami ng tumatawid na nakikipag -patintero sa mga sasakyan. Wala man lang naghuhuli ng Jaywalking. Di tulad sa ibang bansa, penalty na kaagad.
  • Pagtawid sa RED or stop signal lamang at paghihintay ng Walk sign for pedestrians
Hindi ba, reklamo tayo ng reklamo, but when you ask yourself, have you also done your part?

Even as simple as these, when we start to do what's proper, will gain a huge difference in ourselves, in our community and in the generations to come.

Not just in conflict in the government, but we can apply this in our relationship in our workplace, and how we treat our siblings at home.

Ayon nga sa Bible verse na ito:

1 Peter 2:13-17
New International Version (NIV)
13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. 16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

It is not by accident that we have our president and leaders in the government in where they are now.

I believe they are God-appointed to lead us to the right path and to a progressive growth. Let's pray for our country and our leaders.

Abundance of Rain Is Coming!

I hear the thunders and showers of rain.. Abundance of it!

Nakakaranas man tayo ng Famine o Tag-tuyot sa ilang areas of our lives, be it: Financially, Spiritually or Socially...

Financially, may mga times noon, na kahit gaano kalaki ng sweldo, seemed to pass so fast in my hands.

Buti na lang, the Lord loves me so much at hindi siya nag- give up sa akin. Na kahit sa anong deep I was sinning, he has forgiven, and I was able to completely turn my back from doing it over and over.

Socially there was drought, nang naranasan ko ang mawalan ng social life, specifically real friends I can turn to at times I needed badly. At mawalay sa immediate family because had to go abroad for work. And to pray fervently for the right guy to come along. Yes, important din ang social life.

In times of famine, faith is very crucial. I have learned so many lessons sa mga nagdaan at nararanasan na tagtuyot sa mga aspeto sa aking buhay. Kung walang famine, I wouldn't know the value of Real Wealth, the value of Spiritual strength and the value of great relationships.

Pinapaalala sa akin ni Lord and to you that He may be slow at times in answering our prayers. But you should not stop and be persistent. Because most of the times, He really simply want us to learn from our mistakes. And most especially to be strong in faith. Dahil He really wants us to prosper in the long run.

Take the lesson from Elijah:

1 Kings 18:41-44

41 And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” 42 So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.

43 “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked.

“There is nothing there,” he said.
Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.”

44 The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”

So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.”

Akala mo wala nang katapusan ang tag-tuyot, katulad ni Elijah who knew and has faith that rain is near kahit na pinagtatawanan siya ni Ahab na para siyang tanga to keep on asking him to go back and look at the clear sky and scorching sun for a rain.

Face between knees- In prayer position is totally surrender and of total grace and mercy from God. Can also mean, not listening to the negative opinion or remarks of others, or Ahab, who keeps on returning because he doesn't see any cloud from a scorching heat of the sun.

Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” - Seven times is like infinity, walang katapusan na paulit-ulit na pagdarasal.

The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” - Take note of the small sign of value no matter how small it looks at the beginning.

Maaaring a sign ng pagbabago sa anak mo, after continued prayer for his transormation.

Maaaring business opportunity that is going to be a big break for you.

Maaaring an invite to attend church activites or bible study to learn and hear God's word.

Take note of the small sign of value no matter how small it looks at the beginning.

Because Abundance is Coming, Like a Rain...It is So Near! You just need to be brave and soak yourself and swim in the ocean of God's love, blessings and miracles.

Company History of Pru Life U.K.

For the sake of some inquiries I received last week about the history of Pru Life U.K.

Pru Life U.K. is a subsidiary of Prudential, plc, (one of the United kingdom's largest life insurers). A 150 +year-old British company whose global presence services the life insurance, fund management, and retirement planning of over 16 million customers worldwide.

Sa Pilipinas, nauna ang Pru Life U.K. to offer investment-linked products in Asia, and has maintained market leadership for these types of products in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

The clients are given an understanding of different options to place the investments ( 100% bonds; 50% bonds and 50% equities; 80% bonds and 20% equities; or vice versa; 100% equities.)

Meron kaming fund managers who monitor the investment to make sure that investments are properly managed. Agents of Pru Life are licensed with the Insurance Commission to transact variable insurances with clients.

Pru Life agents undergo series of trainings and go as far to take their masters degree and certification diploma to become Certified Financial Planners. Investments are like heartbeat. Everyday it changes.

But wise investors are always guided by their agents or financial planners so investments gain.

Even if I personally have an investment with the stock market, and invest only in giants or so called "blue-chip" companies, I only sometimes closely monitor the trading so I still lose potential for a higher gain. So, I personally recommend to invest a portion of your assets to a mutual fund so as to be managed by professionals.

And I am very proud that East Springs Investments, the best Fund management in Asia handles the company and investors assets.

Personally, you can call one of the investor who can attest to you that she only placed PHP 200,000.00 last year and when she decided to pull out the investment as she need the money. She parked the money with Pru Life UK for a year and 2 months and she earned 16% ,so it became PHP 232,140.06.

So if you are still thinking to decide in making an investment and ensuring protection for yourself and your family. Don't wait too long. Yes, it is the right decision.

Even as low as P2,000 a month, you may get started!

I would love to answer any more questions, please contact me at : 0915 673 6645 or email me at: payanewor18@gmail.com
